Places for snow?

Hey everyone
Where are some places around here, I live in Tacoma, to drive in and and see snow? I wouldn't mind a little drive to get there, just want to take the new truck in the snow and see some sights Thanks
Ps if anyone wants to go this Sat or sun I'm game.

Mount Rainier, esp Sunrise (before it closes) and Paradise are your best bets.

I went up to NF7030 Green water to Stampede and there was snow there.

 

Nice. That's only 30 minutes from me. I'll have to check it out.

 

Yeah if you follow NF7030 to NF 7036 it will take you to the snow. I was actually up there looking for some fall scenery but it just started dumping snow.

Wish I didn’t have to work Saturday’s.

 

I still think we’re in the weird time of year where if you want to see snow you have to be up there while it’s snowing. Melts next day.

 

Yea i checked out copper creek, it was nice No snow but not at ast I know what to expect when I go up there in the snow

 

There was a few inches above greenwater on Tuesday but it was gone by Wednesday.

I’m ready for it to start getting deep though. Snow runs are the best time of year

Found a little bit above greenwater on Saturday. If anyone ever wants to go on the weekends hit me up and See if I’m free! I was the first one up the road to lonesome lake but got stopped by a fallen tree too big for me to move myself (didn’t bring a chainsaw)

Damn I was going to go up there this weekend but didn’t think there was any snow yet.
