Places to source parts?

Good Day...
I am looking for a list or feedback of vendors to buy truck parts and tools.

I am getting sick of going to the local parts place and hearing " we can order that for you"
To be blunt.... I can do that.

The last car parts place here in town with the grumpy old guys at the counter and no computers Closed.
So, I am shopping around for a new place

OP, welcome to the forum!
But I can't tell if your post is primarily a rant or you are truly in need of parts locally, and in a rush.
It also depends on what parts you may be seeking.
I have many online sources and a few local, and a couple international, but there is not much you can do if a store decides to close the doors in your town. Perhaps you could post your location and others here may have some specific suggestions.

 

I have My Dealer and Napa both deliver and Napa has given good quality parts in the Past.

Now competing with Auto-Zone and Advance Auto on lower price parts one needs to be careful.

For years I am used to having to order in parts Here it is the way of life with Toyota`s .

The quality of parts bought online as of late has been rather poor plus so very long shipping times .

 

So.. Some more details are in order here.
I live here in Omaha, Neb.
I am not in a big hurry, truck is not down.

So this comment may be confusing to some.. "grumpy old guys at the counter"
Seems like every city has a parts place that's been around for ever and the "counter folks" are low turnover and low chit chat.
BUT If you need something THATS the place to go .

Is this a rant... Nope/maybe a social commentary
That the bad thing about forums/emails, you cant hear the tone of that person e-mailing /posting

So at 150,00 miles on my "New to me" Tacoma I had a list for stuff to pick up a the local parts shop.

After coming home empty handed from the third parts place. I get it...

Bottom line , I just look for a new source of parts. It can be on line.
Just Fair price, reliable getting out the door and maybe someone to talk to.
