So I do a lot of off-roading, and want to upgrade to a 15" rear and want to make sure I have all of the parts I need, cuz I'm a n00b.

Right now I have a Stage 4 Icon with AAL. I want to keep my extended travel front shocks.

So I'm planning on some softer Deaver springs, U Bolt Flip, Archive Hammer Hangers, Shackles Cross Tube, extended rear brake lines, shock mount relocation, and 15" rear shocks.

Since I have Icon fronts, I wanted to keep Icon rears, so I only see them making a 2.0

ICON Universal 2.0 Aluminum Series Rear Shock, Remote Reservoir, HD Valving, 15” Travel - Icon Vehicle Dynamics

Is there anything else that I'm missing? Any other upgrades or parts that are required? Suggestions?

    Thanks!

That just about covers it. Ensure your wheels have the proper back spacing as to not rub on the shock bodies during articulation.

    Im on 33"s with a -12 offset, so I think I'm decent.

Just need to figure out what Deaver springs I need.

Also, I have a 4x4, do I need an Extended Length Axle Shaft?

How wide are the wheels? No need for extended shafts

You may need 3/4" spacers in the rear

I don't know... do I need anything extended in the rear besides the brake lines?

No you should be good. I misread. The concern is over the wheel/tire contacting the shock body in the rear yes? If so, you’re really not going to know for sure until you really flex it. Like said above a small spacer may be needed to ensure clearance during articulation. Would recommend bora or spidertrax. I think you can get 3/4, 1, 1.25. Definitely use bolt on hub centric designed for the Tacoma

You may be good w/o running a wheel spacer. Since the shock is a 2.0 and you are running 285’s it might just clear.

I'd recommend weighing your rig laden for travel, then compare your needs to the Deaver selection of leaf springs.

    Cheers

Might be a dumb question, but can I weigh it somewhere? Truck scale or dump?

Check your area for public scales...
I've taken rigs to a local packing house that has a scale, others have used the public land fill scales. Simply subtract the curb weight from your total and you'll know the needed spring rate for coils up front and leaf springs in the rear (some folks will weigh the front and back separately).
This is an important step that many skip. Why guess or estimate the weight of your laden rig, when you can have actual data.

When getting suspension for my Tacoma, I had it loaded for a trip, then weighed it. I needed Deaver's stage 3 leaf springs and 700lb coils to handle the laden rig.
The vehicle rides beautifully both on and off pavement.

    Cheers
