If you want a quick, cheap 3" lift in the back, just put Firestone airbags. I installed them easily in 2 hours, got atleast 3-4 inches. Just be prepared for the rough ride! Doesn't help with the travel but it'll get it up there.:D

Make sure to beef up your idler arm if you don't buy that TC one. Those break very often on those older yotas. Sometimes on DR you will find a used one thats already beefed up.

Yea air bags are about the worst option for suspension. They're meant for load levelling.

Can somebody help me out with the rear? I have the front end of my truck down but can't figure out what I want to do with the rear. I don't want to hack my truck bed or anything like that. I was researching on the web and found an article in which they long traveled a toyota pickup and used a deaver mini pack kit which is pretty much a add- a-leaf. Based on the pictures it seems to have a good amount of flex in the rear and should give me 2-3 inches of lift. What do yall think?

the 3 leaf add packs will be better than nothing. the prob is your rear susp just ins't going to be able to keep up with the performance of the front when hitting whoops at good speed and it will start to "buck".

but, that AAL pack will help, as will some good 2.0 or 2.5 resi shocks

Ouch at the bucking. I'll just take it slow for now until I can save up some more and custom mount some long travel deavers on the rear. :p Couple more days until I should be ordering everything!

Front I'm going with 2.5x 8" Coil Over by King Product number-PR2508-COHR. As for the rear I'm still looking. I know I will need new shocks for the rear since the height will be increased but not really sure.

Well just thought I'd update everyone. Long travel is in the mail and should be getting here just before the new year. I'm so exited! :D All I need are the t-100 axles. Are they something that I can just pick up at autozone or some auto parts store?
