I recently ordered bilstein 5100, OME 888, and HS AAL. I’m planning on doing this myself rather than paying someone else to do it. I have a shop nearby where I can use their jack stands and the majority of their tools. Are there anything else I would need to order now so when the time comes, I won’t have to worry about it.

If you didn’t order the suspension assembled you might want to order new bushings and hardware to assemble the new stuff for a straightforward swap, or at least new bushings to use when assembling with the takeoff hardware. You might need new longer center pins for the AAL if it doesn’t come with them. Other than that I’d suggest starting to spray down all the bolts/nuts you’ll need to remove with whatever penetrating oil you like.

I’ll inspect them when I get a chance tomorrow, thank you.

For the AAL, I heard people leave the overload in and some take it out? What’s the difference in both?

If you plan to change the UCAs I would order new uca bolts. I couldn't remove the passenger side so I ended up cutting it and putting the new one in the opposite direction

When making a post like this it's always good to list the year/model/mileage of the vehicle in question. Maybe the kind of life it lives. ( like salt country vs you hand wash/wax the undercarriage weekly)

Even your profile gives no hint.

I can tell you many lca bolts are seizes, so I plan on having new control arms ready to go. You may want to check those first, depending on mileage.
