My rear bumper isn't in the greatest shape, no dents or anything but minor rough surfacing etc. I was gonna plasti-dip the entire bumper, does anyone have a picture of this done? I'm curious how my bumper will look taking the color match away, i know i could apply and then peel it off if i don't like it but yeah.. rather save the hassle!

Also did you dip the whole bumper or just the color matched parts?

I dipped mine as well. Just did the chrome part. I did this about 2 years ago and it's still holding up strong. No rock chips or anything, of course I went a little crazy and put on almost 2 can lol!

Looks great.. wonder if it will have the same contrast on my silver paint though

2 cans wtf? lol i plan on using 1 or less.. have used this stuff quite a bit to know that anything over 4-5 coats is overkill

Mine isn't chrome, it's color matched to the rest of the truck

I too hate the chrome on my DC. Since it seems impossible to get a black color matched rear bumper I think I might have to do this.

I've been dipping since March of this year. Since that are winters are so long and summers are short, I don't have a lot of time to dip. I am not sure if it's harder to get PD in BC or not, but I am glad that a Auto Parts store not too far from me is getting it in. It's very popular The last week they've gotten Blaze colors.

I've done my emblems, back bumper, grill, valance, fuel door, roof console, bed cubbies, mud flaps, center cap(I did one and ran out of dip). Also did the steering wheel accents(silver) where the steering wheel controls are. I also did my Macbook twice, Iphone case.

You can go to dipyourcar.com and there is a forum there and they're people who are trying it on everything. Majority of people on the board are American and they get access to all the colors quicker than we do. Some of the things that people have done to their vehicles and whatever else is just awesome. Lots of information there.
