    That’s what I went with! It should be here by the weekend.

    So if you wanna wait till Friday/Saturday I can be the guinea pig.

    That picture before that had the matte bronze on some STI wheels. That’s what sold me.

    Looking forward to seeing your results! I hope it works out, because this looks like solid option for me. I actually like my factory wheels, but every time I see a truck with bronze wheels it makes me want them.

    Wow Bronze wheels. A bad idea from the 60's resurrected. FUGLY then and worse now.

    yeah man, i saw this post not long ago in that thread. i have the black overlays and really like them. They took a while to install to considering i was installing them in 103 degree weather. probably why I'm so against taking them off and plastidipping the whole wheel.

    Looks good nonetheless, just a little too flashy for my taste!

    Hmmm...
    No, I think I still prefer the steelies. There's something about the simplicity of the steelies that make them look good in gold/copper/bronze.

    It took a while to put mine on too. It wasn't quite 100 when I did it, but still hot enough. Depending on the lighting my overlays pull a bronze hue too. I was inspired by the Gold Ray 10's and also loving gold wheels on STI's (I had a WRX before the Taco). Good luck with the dip. :thumbsup:

    Thanks! It cured my itch until I can go all out with some Gold Ray 10's.

    I'll probably be putting on Brass Monkey Plasti-dip on the stock steelies in the next week or so. Hopefully will look dank with the Barcelona Red!

    Looking forward to seeing the results. I have been wanting to do this for quite a while, just haven’t got around to it yet.

    @irayfz6

    Just did it today. Someone more talented than I am could probably have done a better job. Definitely should have run the dip Release (glorified tire shine) all the way up the sidewalk but wasn’t sure if I’d have enough...probably would have been fine.

    Anyways, here the result with the Brass Monkey on my stock Steelies.
