    Hi everyone. First post iv made..
    I plasti dipped my front emblem yesterday..Took it off. Looks alright but BUBBLES!!?? Made several coats. Just heard such good things about this dip, but not impressed this time. Suggestions? :eek:

    I did mine in January and still looks great. All I did was clean with q-tips and rubbing alcohol. Then sprayed 4 very light coats with 15-20 min. Dry time between coats.

    Anytime fogs, bkack emblems, horns, and blacked out center caps
    It will get bubbles if you do the coats to thick and not enough dry time to make each coat just a little tacky to touch.

    I see, im sure i just did it too thick then. Thanks! Still looks great just some bubbles if you get close to it!:cool:

    I'm in the process of doing that too. I think we picked a bad time for it cause some of the parts i painted got a little bubbly but i think it's just because i chose to do it at the coldest time of the year like a dumb @$$

    If you spray too closer, put on thick coats, or not wait between coats you run the risk of bubbling

    Like any adhesive product you need to prep really well. Clean, scuff, clean, light coats and let them flash in between or you will get the bubbles.
