Plastic Bed??

    If you're concerned about more tie down points, do what many of us have done and add D rings to the bed bolts. I now have 6 tie down points that go right into the frame. Doesn't get much more secure than that.

    i've tossed shovels and pick axes in the bed and didnt even chip the composite! my boss tossed a hammer in his chevy with the depndaliner and broke a big piece out of it:eek:

    Bought a Tundra
    i've got a hole in the wheelwell of my composite bed from where a sharp corner of a gas grill frame i hauled banged into it. the composite is strong and all, but it doesn't do well when the force is concentrated into a small area.

    of course, that would have dented and scratched a steel bed, which would have rusted if not treated. give some, take some i guess.

    i remember seeing a commercial/AD with a 4-wheeler in the bed doing a burnout...pretty rad.

    When I was shopping for my truck last fall I just assumed it was a plastic liner like any other truck. I told the salesman that I wanted the bedliner removed, and a spray-on liner included as part of the deal.... Needless to say, I was shocked (but impressed) when he took me outside to show me the underside of the truck... So instead, I got a free set of side step bars :D
