Plastic Chrome grill?

Im considering painting the chrome around my grill black. I have a 2007 white tacoma. Do you guys think this will look bad? I already have some grillcraft mesh on. If anyone has done this can i see some pictures. Thanks Mike

 

I would paint it white to color match the truck. I think I have seen black on white before and it wasn't very impressive. But thats just my style I guess.

 

The only reason i wanted to do it black is because i didnt think i could colormatch the paint perfect.

 

My satoshi grill isn't color matched exactly either. Its hard to tell the difference, but from up-close, you can see the change. You can buy some spray cans of Toyota OEM paint on ebay. Thats where I got a couple cans of mine and painted my eyebrows. Pretty good match! Not perfect but it will never be the "exact" same.
