Plastic filler

im considering something like bondo or fiberglass resin + black paint, wondered if anybody has patched any holes in their bed before though.

Previous owner clearly spent as much time on TW as me.

 

Fiberglass would be the best. Place it on the inside.then you can add resin to fill in the holes and sand smooth. Then paint or spray can bed liner it

 

If it's the holes that bother you, simply put a bolt of appropriate size through the hole and a nut on the other side. Would fill the hole and not look overly out of place.

 

or a coupla plastic filler plugs even!!

 

Yea plug it or bolt it, an amateur attempt to fix it is just going to make it look worse.

 

Good idea with the plugs i wouldnt have thought of that

 

May plug until i get around to it, was just curious what somebody may have already used and how it looked before I start toying, ive got more epoxys, resins and material than i want to to dig through (machine and fab during the day)

 

Those are the plugs that I have in my fenders from pulling off the flares.
