I went through the automatic car wash the other day and the blow dryer at the end blew the plastic trim on the roof above the drivers side almost all the way off. I pushed it back in and it seemed ok, and I had my 3rd service scheduled at the dealership the next day anyway. I had them check it out and they did nothing....said it was fine and they don’t use anything to stick it down (after taking an hour+ to essentially rotate my tires.) I figured maybe it was a fluke but it happened again the other day. Just wondering if you guys have had this happen and if you have stuck the trim down with some double sided tape or something?

Happens pretty frequently on here. I think most use a few dollops of silycone. I just avoid the car washes :D

You can also use a 3M double sided tape strip.

Same exact thing happened to me. Was just the motivation I needed to purchase/install the OEM roof rack.
