Early 2nd gen 2.7 had a plastic cooling line that ran under the intake, & was prone to failure...No recall that I know of, but that line was switched to a stainless....Does anyone know the year this transition took place?.....

Not sure what year but it's easy to see which one you have, it's about a 2-3 hr job to replace it.

FYI, I just did mine a week ago. I'm reasonably mechanically inclined but, being the first time I've done this particular job, it took me about 4-5 hours, but I label everything and clean while I go along.
