Hey all, I wanted to offer these plates up for sale (TcBob approved) for those of you running steel plate/winch bumpers.

The factory mounts are inadequate to support the weight, impact, and pulling forces that a plate bumper or winch exerts on them. If your plate bumper seems to be shifting position or moving more than it used to, and your mounting bolts are tight, your factory mounts are probably broken. The plates do not need to be welded on, but I recommend it for them to be most effective.

The following pictures are of my broken mounts, repaired mounts, a bare plate welded in place, and a pair of plates mounted and painted.

The price for these frame plates is $35 shipped for a pair. They are 1/4'' steel and will be shipped unpainted. Welding them in place is recommended, but not required.

Paypal or MO accepted; MO's given $3.00 discount.
