Plate bumpers and front air bags

Just curious if replacement front bumpers are compatible with the air bag system on the late model tacomas.

 

im pretty sure they are. but idk how much stronger the plate bumpers are compared to stock ones. the 2 airbag sensors on each side of the side set infront of the radiator if that makes sense

 

I can take pictures of the little things if you want i may have one, let me look.

found it the 2 things right next to the headlights in the pic. sitting on the lower support. this is what i understand at least.

 

I know ARB rigorously tests theirs to be compatible with stock impact velocities.

I'm pretty sure Air bags are triggered by accelerometers and not the bumper being pushed back but I could be wrong.
