Curious what your planned use is? Like a typical situation you plan to wear it. Will make the decision easier on wether to get a Gucci kit, or stay simple.

I run a first spear strandhogg at work with Paraclete plates, for a hobbyist the first spear stt appears to be quite a deal for FS tech.

Here is my plate carrier. Not quite finished yet but close enough. I would really recommend the mayflower APC for a carrier.

    Mayflower APC
High Com Guardian 4SAS7 - 10" x 12" Multi Curve Shooters Cut front and rear plates
    Esstac KYWI triple rifle pouch
    Esstac KYWI double pistol pouch
    ATS small med pouch
    ATS horizontal small pouch
    Blue force tourniquet now

I went with the TAG/Shellback Tactical Banshee with triple curve lvl IV lightweight standalone plate from bulletproofme.com. Love the set up and fit.

Wish a had the money for a full setup.. Currently working on a battle belt..

Honestly it falls down to the fact that I couldn't buy myself a full plate carrier setup and not purchase one for my wife. That would mean that I would have to spend double the money.

It will come later, but for now a battle belt will serve two purposes. Ease of use in my weekly handgun competition and some form of being able to carry more gear if the need shall arise.
