Need ideas, as I’m trying to avoid spending $1k+ on the Decked system. I used search, but only find sleeping setups

I need to fit two dog crates side by side. Total width is 46”. The easiest way is to put them on some sort of platform to get past the wheel wells.

I don’t need to sleep in the bed of my truck , and I don’t have a cap on my bed, so wood is out as a material due to weather exposure

    Thanks !

By all means, explore all options out there, but when the rubber hits the road we are confident that our weatherproof system would be the best solution for the best way to organize and protect your gear while still having the ability to pile a few dog crates on top.

Anyone else out there have some photos of their crates on top with the training gear and tools in the drawers for a good example?

Give us a call or send an email to orders@decked.com with any specific questions around what you are looking to build out.

    Thanks,

If you could come up with a non-wood lid... I love my milk crates! can be zip tied together so they don't slide apart.

I think a rubber mat from tractor supply may work. What measurements on the milk crates ?

13.125 x 13.125. So not ideal, 3 being just under 40 inches. I believe we need 42 total between fender wells at base.

Their are also 6 gallon crates that are about 19 inches x 13.125, but those dimensions don't add up well either...

Do you need STORAGE, or JUST a riser?
