The entire reason I made these was for just that! The storage and utility of a seat delete but being able to flip up the seats in a minute when needed.

Every part of the platform is ABS, I did this to ensure its waterproof to easily clean/never worry about rust/etc. The locks are a super simple idea, just enough to keep the platforms from falling forward. They rattle a little bit, but primarily only when the platform is unloaded/unweighted. If its being used to carry gear/dogs/luggage/whatever, then the weight holding it down and back prevents over 90% of that rattle.

Regarding modifying it, yeah anyone can drill through and add anchors, tie down points, etc. I just dont have those already done because everyone's situation might be different, also not everyone will want those. But yeah you definitely can do that, it's very easy to drill through.

Regarding shipping to Canada, I currently only offer to the lower 48, but PM me and I'll see if we can figure something out!

Here is the picture of both the 60% and 40% installed together. Notice the 40% platform is just a tad taller on the back of the platform. This is what I was referring to in last nights post.

Again just to reiterate, for those interested in either or, and NOT both, this is irrelevant. This only pertains to those currently interested in obtaining the combo.

Okay so am I the only one determined to keep picking up my dog to put her in the back instead of figuring out a way for her to get herself in?

Sounds like you need a lowering kit for your truck instead of a lift :boink:

My dog's can jump over an 8ft fence so no problems for me in that department. My problem is pretty obvious with the dogs having that skill... lol having them NOT jump over the fence.

    Thgr8alex (OP),

Ordered on the 18th and delivered today. Website was easy to use and shipping container was top notch. Product was as advertised and what I expected. I expect your business will do well. A note on the loose rattling retaining pins. I cut a couple of strips from the foam corners you used in packaging. Pushed them into the seatback hooks before pushing the upper platz form plate into position and inserting the retaining pins. The upper portion is now firmly in place and no rattling. Thanks, I am happy.

    Cuba,
Glad you are happy with the Platz-Form! Looks great in the truck. As for the foam wedge idea, that is FANTASTIC! Even better, that will easily be able to fit in the zipper bag with the locks when stowing the Platz-Form so that the foam wont interfere with the seats redeploying. Nice work!

Time to 3D print an anchor pin with a sprung tab on the backside for a little tension.

Happy Friday to everyone following along! Just wanted to send an update for those that are still waiting for the seat delete option. I have completely removed my rear seats and am taking measurements to work on getting a prototype built! For everyone who is interested in one, please feel free to let me know some features you would like to see in this new product and during the design phase I will see about adding some if possible!

Happy Friday everyone! Thanks so much for all the support and everyone who has bought a Platz-Form. Hope you guys are enjoying them. I love seeing all the pictures of how you all are using them. I apologize for being a little inactive lately, life just gets super busy sometimes but I am still making these and still getting them shipped out next day from purchasing! Due to all the craziness of our current economy and supply chain issues, I have had to remove free shipping. It is now $12.99 flat rate. Local pickup in DFW area still available, if interested in that, feel free to send me a PM if you are nearby or will be passing through! Thanks again for all the support!!!

As always feel free to ask if you have any questions or would like any additional pictures. I would also love for those of you that have them to continue sending pictures of your platform whether its a glamour shot, hardcore use, modifications, whatever!!!

    All 3 sizes currently available!
