    @OnlyTaco @Greg.Brakes.Tacos

    I have a few more members interested in the 40% over on my 2nd gen thread, but as far as the 3rd gen guys, I am trying to get a tally for how many people are interested so I can make sure I manufacture enough units. @OnlyTaco are you still interested in a 40%?

    Also, is there anyone else who is currently subbed or reading this that would be interested in a 40% platform that would sit in place of the single seat in the rear while leaving the rear passenger and middle seat upright? If so, let me know so I can add your name to my list to ensure I get enough made.

    I meant to test out the new 4n1 car seat to see how/where it can be setup (i.e. center seat or behind driver vs. behind passenger), since we have another year by law until it can be forward facing, which drastically reduces the small space between the front seat and the back seat.

    Regardless, the wife was intrigued by the functionality and install/removal ease.

    That’s the reason I was wanting to keep passenger side seat. I prefer her to sit over there. It easier to hand her things and see her.

    I dont have kids or else I probably would have done the 40% first instead of the 60%. I did not even think about having the kiddos on the passenger side for ease of access as well as more space for car seat with passenger seat pushed forward. I am planning on getting the 40% put into production hopefully this coming week.

    I know how easy it is to put in and take out but is there a chance it will fit behind the seats when the are up? Also will the 60 and new 40 piece fit side by side providing a lot of flexibility?

    The 60 and 40 will be able to go side by side. The two together will equal the same width as the 100. However, since the platforms use the seat latches in the rear to attach just like the seats, this will be a problem in storing them behind the seats and they will not fit there for storage. But given the 100% weighs 20 lbs, it is very easy to move to garage or house and folds flat for easy storage. As well as it being 100% waterproof since being made from ABS you could store it in your truck bed and not need to worry about weather. Only thieves...

    @Thgr8alex What are you using to hold your spare tire there?

    I used T-nuts in the bed rails with all-thread rods going through the lug holes in the wheels with nuts to secure them, as well as ratchet straps over the top, and front, and a cable lock as well. Not going anywhere and will take a thief quite a while to get it.
    Wilco makes a nice unit that does the same thing but it was hard for me to justify how much money they want for that. I'll send more detailed pictures if you're interested. In total it cost me less then 30 or so bucks.

    Currently working on bringing the non seat delete 40% to market. Next on my list is all the sizes of seat delete variety. I'm a one man show so I can only move so fast Haha but it is indeed on the radar.

    Some pics and a part list would be fantastic. The tire shop scratched up one of my rims doing the KM3s so they're getting me a new wheel. I'm going to get a 5th tire for it and need to run it in the bed. I had seen a couple different mounts but $200-300 seems a bit excessive to move the location of the spare tire. I'm heading on a road trip soon and want it to be accessible to me but not to thieves.
