PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (XB1)

My buddy told me about a tip that may or may not help smooth gameplay. If you go into your settings and turn off the xbox's ability to record and screen capture that trick will supposedly help. I haven't done it but I haven't had the same issues as he does. He has the OG xb1 and having game issues..

 

I will give that a try... what if I get an epic kill and want to record that though?! I’m so vain

Edit: this last update did seem to make things a little more buttery. Minus connectivity... my internet is shit to boot as well...

 

Oh I didn’t even know they come out with an update. When did that happen? Do you have a link for the patch notes?

• Localization updates for Vietnamese, Spanish,(Spain/Mexico)
• Controls on motorcycle no longer inverted
• Keyboard functionality is disabled

Sweet, thanks for that. Funny that they disable keyboard functionality. I’m sure that’ll piss of some people.

 

My biggest issue is anytime I start driving, my game crashes. Even if I’m a passenger. It doesn’t always happen instantly, but so far it’s been 100% if I stay in a vehicle for more than a couple clicks.

Also figured out that LB is steady aim for when you’re scoped in. And you can roll grenades with the left trigger held. Or maybe a tap? Need to experiment with that more.

 

I think you can steady your aim even when you’re not aimed down sights with LB. I also believe it’s just a tap of the LT to switch throws for grenade.

Fyi, insider told me this will be on xbox's game pass in a few months...

He also said that the next two months are going to have some insane games

 

I've only played solo. I have a friend who told me about PUBG before it came out and he's trying to get me to duo with him but I need some more practice. He's pretty good already got that chicken dinner twice. The best I've done is 6th a couple times with 3 kills each time

 

First win 12 kills. I've been averaging at minimum 4 kills a game. I just started jumping into high population areas and testing my skills trying to beat people

 

Was a close one but 2 in a row! 9 kills this time
