Hey all, I'm searching for data. Search bar yielded only 1 post that was on topic, but wasn't specifically addressed. Many of you have set up extensive sound systems in their 2nd gens so I assume at least one someone can provide some specific useful information:...
EDIT: Only interested in front stage

I would like to know the best speaker placements for the LEAST amount of PLD in a 2nd gen Taco. As in, the most equal sound/listening experience for both passenger and driver without the need to adjust on the fly.
    For example, least PLD for:
tweeter: is it jammed up in the very far corners of the dash?
Woofer: is it in the kick panel?
    Mid: stock location??
    Subs don't matter for PLD.

PLD= Path Length Difference, left speaker distance to left ear and right speaker to right ear. Usually PLD is opposite comparing driver's ears to passenger's ears; I would like to minimize that opposition by utilizing nearest-perfect equidistant speaker placement to please both driver and passenger equally. How much PLD can be avoided in 2nd gens?
    Thanks

    *cough* Mr. Marv *cough*

If you want Mr. Marv's attention you need to use the @ symbol before his name, and it should show up in blue. @Mr Marv

Yeah it's been a little crazy to say the least and I dont have much time to view the forums these days! I just happened to see an alert to this thread this morning but unfortunately didn't have time to read the thread so best bet is to give me a call at the number below my screen name after 2:00 pst on Mondays (my text app is still wacky so its hit or miss as to whether I receive your message or you receive my reply)
