    I have a renewed appreciation for truck drivers. I can't imagine the mess we would be in but for them. Absolutely nothing would be on the shelves, gas stations would be dry, hospitals would have no supplies.

    But at least the truckers must love having much fewer cars on the road to get in their way.

    So my daughters boyfriend does logistics for a company hauling bread in New England.
    The guys who drop full trailers and pick up empty ones are happy.
    Less traffic makes trips quicker and easier.
    The ones who unload would prefer to drop and go. But in general they run alone and don’t worry about it a lot.
    Of course it’s on most people’s minds but less contact with people makes it easier.
    One of the bigger complaints is the lack of places to stop and eat or use a crapper.

    I gotta say seeing people in public wearing masks is new to me and kinda sketch’s me out.

    Not exactly, but with all of the praise heaped upon first responders and health care workers (glory to them), truckers seemed to me to rather forgotten.
