mine do not make an abnormal noise. They do vibrate some when they are only half way down. I have it stuck in my head that its going to cuase unneccesary wear and tear so it's either all the up or all the way down. I havent heard of anybody's power windows failing early so maybe I am just paranoid.

I don't open my window so I don't notice any rattle. It's freAking loud with the window down.

No rattles, but the windows does move a little too much side to side.

Removed the Mud Flaps, Rock Deflectors and Head Rest. Limo Tint, I had 3" Toytec Lift, Procomp Nitrogen ES6000 shocks and Struts. AllPro UCA, AFE Pro Dry drop in filter, WeatherTecs. Now I have LR UCA's, Maxtrac Spindles, Eibach's, 5100's up front, Expos, 5160 for the rear, U Bolt Flip Kit, and Extended Brake lines.
For those who dont have the rattle could it be that your Tacoma where manufactured some other place than in California?

It may be isolated to where it was made. Other wise this is a design flaw. Again my truck only has 18k light miles.

Thanks for all who have checked. Also does this constitute a recall if more than 50% of the owners experience this issue?

Mine rattle also when the front windows are partially down. Haven't checked the back yet. My wife's 03 4Runner did the same thing. I chalked it up to being a design issue.
