Seems the PS4 is killing the Xbox One

^^^ I read this and my periph saw what looked like a video game rack in a store. Immediately thought "he found a ps4 for me!"

And then I saw the disgusting green.

 

lol... Yeah... I didn't buy one.

I probably will eventually but just not interested now. I'm going to wait and see how they handle the whole E3 debacle. Just because they went back and recanted everything they said doesn't mean they won't try to reinstate it once enough units are in consumers hands.

And if it was a PS4 I would have PM'd you and you could just pay for shipping. *EDIT* Price of the PS4 and Shipping... I'm nice but not that fuckin nice lol

If you only made me pay shipping you would still get at least a bonus $450 for your troubles. You look like a great guy essentially giving away a ps4. And I look like I am generous, donating money to someone. Win win I would say!

ill probably have to wait (she said "she couldnt find what she was trying to get", so im assuming ps4 since we have talked about it). but ill get one eventually

They are hard to come by no doubt. Just got to be at the right place at the right time. I thought it was kind of funny that they had 2 Xbox's sitting there. I personally think Microsoft shot themselves in the foot during E3 and it has hurt their sales. I will eventually get one but I don't give a shit about the kinect and I hate that it is bundled with the Xbox. I will never use the kinect. I think the Xbox is trying to do too much instead of just being a gaming machine. That is one reason I like the PS4.

But in reality you don't really need either one right now. There are very few games fore either system and with the exception of Knack (PS4) Ryse (Xbox) and Forza (Xbox) every other game is released on the previous gen system. Only Forza stands out as Knack and Ryse both got terrible reviews. I would love to play Forza but not for $600 extra dollars. So aside from that, all your really gaining right now is a very big boost in graphics. When I say that I mean it looks amazing. I put in COD Ghosts and it was like playing a different game there is that much difference in the graphics.

 

GF asked what I wanted for X-Mas. Straight out I told her, "PS4". I hope she finds one hahaha

Like you said it is hard to come by, they're pretty much zero existence right now. Unless you got a buddy working at gamestop or BB to let you know when's next stock will come in.

 

That's exactly how I got mine. Got a friend that works at GameStop and he held a pre-order for me that someone didn't pick up after 48 hrs.

 

I sold my 360 last year so I don't have a gaming system anymore. But I'm also not in a rush to get one either, but I would like one. And hoping its what I will get even if I have to wait.

 

You sir need a much bigger screen to play on..

 

Yeah... I had 3 360's and 2 PS3's. I got the red ring of death on 2 of the 360's and the yellow light of death on the first PS3. I was a Halo fanatic then Modern Warfare came out and I was hooked on that.

If I'm honest... I'm splitting my time now between the PS4 (only so much Battlefield 4 and COD you can play) and my gaming laptop with World of Warcraft. Just waiting on some new releases in the meantime.

Ill play whatever...the bigger the maps the cooler the explosions.

The one and only gripe I have with the system is the controllers cord length...cant play while charging.
And my wife looks at me like im crazy when im talking to the ps4 using the voice commands...I told her she's replaceable.

 

Damn you're lucky. I went through 7-8 360s with rrod. I used to be a halo fanatic too then mw2. Played battlefield some on the original Xbox, it was fun so I'm sure it'll be fun on the ps4.

Battlefield 4 is fun. I switch between BF4 and COD. If I'm honest though after a while it becomes the same thing over and over so I'll take a break and hit up WoW on the computer for a while.

Went to Walmart today to pick up a few more things before the ice storm hits and they put out 2 more Xbox One consoles while I was there. 4 sitting on the shelf right now. No PS4's though.

If you don't mind could you put up a review on the PS4, on the hardware and all that good stuff etc.

So maybe we could have that as the official PS4 thread haha.
