I'm currently running 285/75/16 with OME lift kit but I am wanting to go to a wider tire and stick with a 16" wheel.

My previous Taco was running 15" wheels which made fining a 12.5 wide tire easier.

    Anyone suggestions?

Its really about width not diameter. You can fit a 12.5 wide tire on a 7" rim and bigger. However you will need to consider the backspacing and offset to ensure that you clear the suspension and UCA. I would guess a minimum of 4.0 backspace?

Thanks, I understand all of that.

I guess I was asking the literal question to everyone as to what the widest tire they have of their truck with a 16” rim. I can’t find an equivalent to 12.5 wide tire for a 16” rim.

I ran 305/70r16. Pretty much a 33 x 12. If you want a true 12.5" wide you will need to jump up to 315/75r16 and runs close to 35 x 12.5.

    Super swampers makes a 33x12.5R16.

    You’ll gain little moving from a 285/75r16
