I have 2 aftermarket mufflers, one currently installed (Magnaflow) and the other is new/never been installed (Black Widow - Venom). Just to make it easy without cutting/welding etc., I'd like to simply swap lower exhausts- your stock for my Magnaflow- and I'll throw in the Black Widow for free. Both mufflers are worth at least $100 each new, so in the end you can sell one of them while also getting an aftermarket exhaust. I want to return to stock because the Magnaflow is a little too loud for my liking as a daily driver. (I'm getting old...) The Black Widow should be a little quieter, but not sure since I never installed it (you can find audio clips on their site for reference). Located in Orange County, CA

Would a 2017 muffler work? My buddy just picked one up a couple weeks ago and has been looking for an upgrade. We're in the Brea/Fullerton area

Yeah honestly idk either? Were you looking at just a muffler chop? That thread did the whole exhaust system it looks like. I'll try to google some stuff right now too

I'd rather not chop at all, and just trade exhausts from the flanges I circled in red. I don't know if the flanges on a 3rd gen would be at the same point. That thread makes it look like the bends & hangars are the same, but the 2nd gen is longer (which is why he had to cut to make it fit his 3rd gen)

Yeah, I want to do a simple swap and be done with it if i can. Rather not cut/weld/ship etc. if I can be done with it in 15 mins

That would be awesome! But no I'm almost never up there haha. Was in the SF area in August for the Russian River beer fest, but that was the first time driving up there in a long time haha

I have my stock muffler about 500 miles wen I took it off.
Went with a TRD exhaust but I'd like a little more noise.

How many miles on the magnaflow?

I got it from another TW member in August, and have put maybe 3-5k miles on it since. I'm not sure how many miles he put on it before me, but either exhaust will definitely give you more noise than a TRD.
