cvj has a hefty core price and only takes oem returns.

Did you get a new axle seal when you ordered the bushing?
If not, you should. I wouldn’t try reusing the old one.

Yeah, torn on what to do with the passenger side once it needs attention..."torn", ya see what I did there, did ya? Sorry, it's been long day :)

@TnShooter, I did, thanks for the heads up though, much appreciated as I almost didn't...I should've ordered 2 just in case :)

@Ts77, you can just get the axle seal at most parts store, when the time comes. Save on shipping.
Too bad someone didn't just offer to lend you the needle bearing tool removal. Seen a few willing to loan theirs on here.

@Marc70 cool, thank you, wasn’t sure about how readily available those seals are.
Yeah, I asked in one of my comments on this thread about the removal tool, but no responses so just went ahead and ordered one. Gonna be out of cell service for the next week for work and had to get the parts on their way :)

If you need help go ahead and message me, I’ve done it too many times unfortunately. It’s been a year since I put on the cvj ones on and it is looking great. You have no idea how much of an absolute pain putting new boots can be so be glad you didn’t go that route. I gave away my needle bearing tool to someone on here so hopefully he kept passing it forward like he agreed.

@Bluebaron7 Thank you, I really appreciate it and might take you up on your offer. It made me a little queasy to spend that much $$, which I realize isn't that much to most peeps, but I think/hope it was the right decision. It'll me my daily driver and my only vehicle (other than a motorcycle), so really don't have the time to replace axles/boots on a regular basis :)
Hopefully repairs will go down on Sunday or Monday (my work trip into the Grand Canyon got delayed a bit by this weather, but heading in tomorrow), I'll let ya know...Thank You! :)
