Okay guys I order some fox 2.5 front coil overs and I also had installed dirt king LCA and UCA stander lowers and uppers NOT (LT)
And I literally have no travel! :annoyed:. My ride is incredibly stiff! The coil on the shock look really large then other shocks I have seen and installed. And I adjusted the ring at the top witch was really really really hard to move I had to use a lot of different methods.

Would I need to change the coil to lest stiffer spring orrrrr a new coil assembly? Or can I release some nitrogen to soften it up?

I thought at the time that my CV axels had come out but they seem fine to me. Need help on any suggestions! Thank you.

If I could send you a video I would but when I lower the truck to the ground my my shock dose not move. Driving the truck feels like a straight front truck.

Your spring rate is 600 thats fine for stock front end. So if you put the wheel on and drop the jack fast you have no travel? Send a pic of the suspension on the trucks own weight so we can see your uca angle. If its very angled you need to adjust your preload.

You have barely any shock shaft showing at full droop, you need way more preload. Usually about 2-2.5 inches of threads should show.

Okay I only have my preload all the way soft of my drivers side. Hold on I’ll go and throw the wheels on. My UCA angel is bad if you ask me

Sorry I shouldve clarified, it wont make a difference putting it on its own weight my opinon, now that I took a longer look at it. You barely have enough shock shaft left when the truck is on its own weight. Id bet your uca angle will be very similar to what its at now. Id adjust the preload and go from there.

Unless you have aftermarket front bumper and heavy skids, etc, your spring rate is fine and even then wont be the cause of your problem, I wouldnt mess with nitrogen levels either.

Yeah my preload is as soft as it can go. I have about 2 more threads then it would come off

Sorry, Im not wording my responses well. You need more preload. You should be showing around 2-2.5 inches of threads aka preload.

When I first installed it had about 2-3 in of preload and the ride was really really really bad. Every bump I would hit my head on the roof . It can’t be I have a 6in lift shock? Or a long travel shock could I?

What did your upper control arm angle look like when you had that much preload? Thats really odd to me, it should be stiffer but in a good way and it should feel really clean when you hit bumps, for example, when driving into your driveway or a shopping center entrance at speed or a speed bump. I had fox stock replacement coilovers and they ride really nice, shouldnt be hitting your head on the roof lol. Whered you get the coilovers?

This is interesting. I have no input but curious with the outcome. Good luck.

The angel looks fully droop on the jack stands off the Jax stands. It just feel like I have no suspension in the front. Just for shits and giggles could it be my CV axels have popped out and now they are not set in and binding and that’s what is cause me to have no suspension?

Its odd to me because if you added more preload your uca angle would get worse, maybe you did get long travel coilovers that are larger. Im not positive to be completely honest, try to google the serial number on the packaging for the actual coilover.
