I believe is a 6in lift (spring) because the shock itself is about 1-2in longer the stock. But the spring is helllllllllll!! To adjust! It’s totally the wrong spring

Can you put old coil overs back on? That is going to be the quickest way to get her back on the road.

No, that spring would probably be used on a long travel coilover. A 6" drop bracket coilover would still use the same spring as a regular travel coilover

Never thought about that. But taking these springs off that I have now might explode off. Haha. I just hate that I need to spend the money when these shocks were a arm and a leg already and no I need to pay more for their mess up!

So do I have the wrong coil period? Did they send me the wrong product? Or is it like you said just the wrong spring?

You can take out the entire shock assembly without taking the spring off. Just loosen away bar links and then the three bolts for the top hat and bottom shock mount bolt, Leave the spring alone for now.

I would be tactful when you explain this to Dirt King as those coilovers might have come straight from Fox like that. See how Dirt King handles the issue before you go ape shit.

Braddah man, I would just throw your stock coilovers back on for the time being so that you can at least drive the truck. They provided you with the wrong length coils.

Looks like the wrong spring... the extended travel shock only extends about 1/2 inch further than a non extended shock.

Yeah I had a problem with the rear shocks... the elbow for the res was pointed in the wrong direction on the drivers side. So I needed to crack it open and turn it and go get it filled with nitrogen.

Yes... it was misunderstood as putting your stock springs on your new shocks, that is going to be a no.
Just put the stock shock set up back, but leave the ucas for now. You will most likely need an alignment tomorrow

Take pictures of the coilover part number and and part number on the spring and email those pics along with an explanation of the issue to Dirt King. Do it soon so they can get back to you in the morning.
