    Ok so i plan on getting rid of my stock set up and this is what i want to get

    Head Unit
    Speakers (4)
    Sub

    How many channels should i look at? would I need 2 amps? Thanks

    Did you buy those speakers yet? Because they won't perform as well as components. Make sure that head unit has a HPF, for that price I doubt it does. And you can get by with just a 4-channel amp. Run the front speakers off of channels 1 & 2. Bridge channels 3 & 4 for the sub.

    i havent bought anything yet. thanks for the heads up. so i guess a 4 channel amp and component speakers?
