Howdy, I have a 2007 Taco 6 Cyl TRD off-road. Just recently found the time and funds to do some much needed work to it. Just replaced the AC Compressor, belt, both Idler Pulleys, as well as the AC Clutch Relay.
The Refrigerant levels are solid, and the system is blowing air; but it will not cool the air, the ac light is blinking still and the clutch will not engage. Any recommendation will be much appreciated, I'm at my wits end with this truck.

It has been reported that with an aftermarket AC Compressor you will need to move the original rpm sensor from the old AC Compressor to the new aftermarket compressor.

Does the compressor engage for a few seconds and then disengage when the light starts flashing or does it not engage at all?

Yes, the clutch will engage but the light will blink.

Jimmy do you have a part number for the OE sensor or a link to toyotas website with it?

If the clutch is engaging, what are your line pressures on both high and low sides?

So the A/C Amplifier isn't seeing the correct signal from the compressor Lock Sensor.
Did you keep the one from your old compressor?

Have to fix the lock sensor problem before we can check pressures.
