Hello! My name is Omar and this is my first post! Thank you all for the information your forum provides. I have lurked for a while and decided to join as I have ran into a few issues with my poor taco.

The lights for the Fan Knob, Temp Knob, and the third knob work intermittently. More importantly, the settings on the fan knob from 1-3 work intermittently. However, 0 and 4 always work. I attached a photo of the area in question.

Thank you in advance for any possible ideas!!

That climate control panel just snaps out and there's 2 connectors. I'd start by making sure everything is clipped in securely.

Welcome! That assembly comes out really easy. Just pry on the top and bottom and it'll pop out no problem. I just take a flat head screwdriver, wrap it in a towel and wedge it in there. Once you get it out, there are some screws to take off the back. I'm guessing there are some loose connections in there.

Installed Overhead Compass and Temperature Display along with outside temperature sensor and wiring; LED lights reverse backup; LED license plate lights; Added GTA Bluetooth Audio kit to stock radio for iphone audio; Spare tire steel braided air hose extension connection to rear bumper; Installed new headlights along with new bulbs PIAA H4 XTreme and for fog lights PIAA H10 XTreme bulbs. Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.
As fellow forum member "driverdale" stated, check to make sure that all the rear connections and small light bulbs are snug fit?
As for the small bulbs, well they could be going out?....or need to be replaced?......or ????...but be gentle handling them because as I understand it they are very sensitive and could easily stop functioning as they should.
As for the fan settings 1-4 working intermittenly, etc. then I would check the "blower resistor" this is a known problem to occur so click on the link for further details: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fan-speed-switch-not-working.70275/
Lastly it could very well be that the whole A/C control section could just be giving out?...but lets hope not!...If so then it would need to be replaced.
Hope this helps out or at least give you some sort of direction on how to proceed with repairs and such.
    Good Luck!
