Hey everyone! I am having a bit of a problem. I own a 2007 access cab 4x4 2.7 5 speed. I am getting ready to pull he trigger on buying the 5100's and AAL for a mild lift. The problem is, I can't decide on what tire size to go with. Most of my driving will be on the street but on the weekends it does see the back roads and some trails. Right now it has the stock, junk, 245 Dunlop's on it. I am having a hard time deciding between sticking with the 245/75/16's or going up a size to the 267/70/16's

Will the 265's be to much for the 2.7 with stock gearing? I already know what tread pattern I want and where I am getting my tires. By the way, I am going with Treadwright again incase anyone was wondering. According to thier sizes, the 245's are a 30.7'' tire and the 265's are a 31'' tire. Also, what load range should I look at? Should I go with a ''P'' or should I jump up to a C,D,or E ?

You can fit 265/75/16. Lots of folks with 4 cyls are running that size with no issues.

245s would look ridiculous with a lift IMO.

Go 265/75-16s. Also, Treadwrights run a tiny bit big: a 265/75-16 in a Treadwright is a bit bigger than any 'new' 265/75-16. I advise against running an 'E' tire unless you feel you absolutely need the thicker tire. You'll be fine with a 'C' or 'D'.

Would a 265/75/16 load range ''P'' be alright to run on my truck?

Yep, passenger tires are rated above the payload capactity of the Tacoma so you are good to go.

I am going with Treawright tires. Not sure if I am going to go with the Guard Dog M/T's again or the Warden A/T's:confused:
