So i have a squeak coming from the front end. According to a few others on here, its the core support mounts or front body mounts.I have a set of energy suspension poly bushings to replace them with but the problem is I cannot find these bolts for anything. They are saying that nothing needs to be removed to access them and the whole job should take no more than a half hour.Im creating a whole new thread about this in hopes of getting more views.I want to get this done asap So PLEASE someone upload a few pics showing where these fuckin bolts are and it will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I haven't done body mounts on a Tacoma, but I did do them on my old Ford truck. It was not a 30 minute job by any means, it was more like a weekend job. Maybe Toyota has theirs designed differently. When I did them on the Ford, you had to loosen all bolts, then remove ONE bolt completely, use a jack to separate the body from the frame, take out the bushing, separate the metal from the rubber and then put new piece on and reinstall loose. Then go one by one around the truck. If you didn't loosen all of the bolts, there was no way you could get the body up high enough to remove a single mount and you would risk jacking the truck up by the body alone (yikes). So, just be careful.

But in terms of finding them, it shouldn't be that hard. Just crawl under, follow the frame. It is a complete guess, but I am assuming there are 2 up towards the radiator core, two by the firewall, two in the middle, and two towards the rear of the cab. You can't miss them if you just follow the frame, they are the only places the frame mounts to the body. Also, Ford used loctite on the bolts, I needed to use a torch to heat the bolt up to remove them. You may need to do the same if you find you can not get them off.

    Should look something like this:

Yes i have followed the frame forward and found the two foremost bolts by the radiator. They are by no means accessible without removing other parts. Ive been on both of those threads that you guys got the pics from. Especially the one started by canyonrunner and he says there is nothing to remove to access them. I really appreciate your efforts but it has to be some other bolts he is talking about and uploading pictures of. So please, someone find these fuckin things and show me where they are

Have you looked in the area of the firewall/frame? Shouldn't that be where the front cab mounts are?

Look straight up from the ends of the front/radiator crossmember.
Looks like you'll need to remove the fender liners to access them.

Driver's side; looking up through a hole in the bottom of the fender liner.

These are the exact ones I found. And I realized they aren't accessible without removing the fender liner. Canyonrunner and everyone in that 2nd gen thread says nothing needs to be removed

They have to be in the radiator area. That's where the core support mounts are

    Same thing.

Thank you for taking care of that one. I was like... hang on, how do you not know whose that is. I am almost literally pointing it out!

Dude your frame is no different than a 2nd gen frame. Pound for pound they are exactly the same. Follow the thread I have floating on this forum and you will fair out just fine.
