Not enough to have a build thread.
were the tracks leading away from her truck defined enough to determine if it was her shoes that made them?

ARE cap, wade inchannel vent visors, weathertec floor mats, ranch hand grill guard, tuffy security boxes in bed, lockable tailgate handle. Still have stuff that needs to be installed and still have stuff ordered lol.
Theres more to all this too many loose ends etc. we dont know if she was drunk we hear that she was from a suspect and same suspect hinting there was another guy to try to make everyone think there is another suspect. Also if she was drunk he never should of let her leave and drive. Also he says she is the one who brought the wine. Also we do not know what her state of mind was that night there are so many possibilities also maybe she was pregnant and the father dont want to hear it,when that happens some girls want to kill themself because they are hurt and think thier life is over. Autopsy should give us more clues, also we do not know if anything else happened that night. I do not believe everything that the suspect is saying about how things where that night he makes it sound like everything was on the up n up and innocent. also i read someplace about a party there at his house and how a females panties was found and he knows whos they are.

But the family can have some closure now.
We all hope and prey for swift justice if there is foul play.

    FB post by Aly's Dad....

Below is an edited re-post of our Day 38 message originally put up last Sunday. Sadly, we were notified an hour after it went out that a body was found in the river matching Aly’s description. The post was immediately taken down so we could grieve and change direction. Most edits now refer to Aly in the past tense.

Day 38 – the silence is deafening. Every day we search for answers and clues, and still find no Aly. We meet with investigators a couple times a week and pour over mountains of information on Aly’s life. We gather around the my parents fire pit each evening around dinner. This naturally turns to reminiscing about the good times we’ve all had there over the past 20 years. Last night as the sun was going down, we watched a crystal-clear rainbow form over the orchard. Amazing as it was, it was yet another reminder that all is not right. Everyone scrambled to get a good picture with our cameras and phones, and when Dan pulled out his, he immediately scrolled to a picture from a few years ago of he and Aly standing under a similar rainbow in the exact spot. Every memory and discussion that comes up during those fire pit sessions is a reminder of our new reality.

During the days we sift through her social media, phone, computer, and bank account records looking for any sign of something amiss or someone nefarious in her life. With Aly, there are no signs of depression or emotional problems beyond normal young adult stresses. We keep wondering if we missed something and keep coming back to the realization that she had everything to look forward to.

There are so many examples of her enjoying life, like a month ago when she flew to Los Angeles to visit friends. She had a great time, shared pictures and stayed in touch. Even as recent as March 30th, the day she went missing, she was following up with a friend about plans for a trip to Ixtapa, Mexico this summer. This was a big deal for her because it would mark her first time out of the country. She was working through a class at Yuba College, and was even reaching out to Arizona State University to enroll in a nursing program there. She worked two jobs, was a part time student and still found time for friends and family. She even made an orthodontic appointment on March 30th to have her braces adjusted 2 months down the road. Looking at her bank account we found she also set up a monthly $25 automated fund transfer from checking to savings to avoid those pesky low account balance fees. She was a proactive young adult learning more about life each day and it’s clear in her social and digital world she was realizing a whole life ahead of her.

Thankfully her phone was found intact – it’s a goldmine of information that we otherwise would not have. Her computer and phone records also show a side of Aly’s life that she didn’t share, like a group of ‘friends’ in Chico and some others in Yuba City, Live Oak and Gridley. She never shared these names to her parents or grandparents. Instead she described them as her “Chico” or “Yuba City friends,” as if she didn’t want them to know because we would disapprove of them. It’s also obvious in her messages who had her best interest at heart and who was taking advantage of her.

So many other burning questions too. Like, why would a 37 year old Michael Lizarraga share selfies last year in a hot tub with three girls nearly half his age? Aly was 19 in that picture – it was taken May 26th, 2016 and was shared with all his buds on Instagram and Facebook. Inappropriate? Not legally. Poor taste for a father of two young girls? You be the judge. According to Lizarraga, he stayed in touch with her on Snapchat over the year, but Snapchat’s privacy ensures we have no way to prove that and neither does he. In a year and a half of phone records, she texted him twice and called him once, which coincide with the only two times she ever met him – late May 2016 and March 30th, 2017.

And why did the Taste of India restaurant owner not want to share security camera footage of Aly to her Dad? After making him wait 20 minutes on Day 2 (Saturday, April 1st), he showed him 90 minutes of video of the time after Aly and Lizarraga left. Then he asked him to, “Tell the cops they don’t need to see it.” Dan walked away thinking he got a bad tip and believed Aly was never there. Fortunately, the police helped the owner find the right video and proved they were there. Was he covering something up for Lizarraga or himself? Was he worried about bad press? Here’s some advice restaurant owner, the best press you can get is where you fully cooperate with the father and family of a missing girl. Honest mistake? Maybe. Anyone want to know more? Ask him directly – the sign hanging in the restaurant says you can provide feedback at R_bains@comcast.net, or 530-713-8089.

Last thought is the jealous boyfriend theory which we have not ruled out. Some of her messages show this as a possibility. But what jealous boyfriend would track her down on a late evening drive home from someone’s house and kidnap her? That’s some seriously deep jealously and doesn’t add up.

Bottom line, we have our Aly home now, and this is the worst outcome we could have imagined. Someone out there is still knows something more and we intend to find it – Justice for Aly.

I've followed this thread from the first post and have hoped for a good outcome from the beginning. I don't know this person and have never spoke to the OP. The outcome, even though after the second week I had a bad feeling, breaks my heart. I do believe in some sort of butterfly effect this can have a positive outcome in someone else's life somewhere but I can't imagine what her family must be feeling right now. My prayers and condolences are with you.

This is a heartbreaking story, what a shame and a vibrant young life taken. I hope that investigators and the family can find out what happened to her and bring to justice whomever was responsible for her death.

Watched the video a few times of that guy talking. He seems to have practiced his story very well but fishes for answers a few times.

I just don't know how that dad hasn't gone Punisher on a few people already. I wouldn't have that will power not to beat the info out of ever last person who saw my daughter alive.

He likes to look away from the reporter a lot. A very weird interview but I'm not here to point fingers.

Nevermind that the video is edited and doesn't really reflect any reality at all, except what reality is left to perception.

All we see is what we were made to see. Without watching a full, unedited video then hard to extrapolate anything from it.

The detective questioned after the interview was asked if that guy was a suspect or anyone else who was at the house - and he said no.

If there was a lead being investigated related to that party, they'd probably not comment on it. If the lead was strong enough for them to fib that response and pretend Mike or someone else wasn't a suspect - methinks that person would be in cuffs right now.

Really sucks, and isn't easier to hear about now that we have all the faces that video showed us. But, hopefully the autopsy reveals whether it was a murder (and then what method was used to kill her) or if it was indeed some kind of freak occurrence, unlikely as it may be.

Glad they found a body, obviously would prefer they'd found Aly instead. One step closer to the puzzle and to closure and justice.

Just curious if anyone knows. Did the video footage from the farm capture the person leaving the truck after it was stuck in the mud?
