There are lots of ways for people to drown. My guess is accidental or forceful, they either don't know or won't say as it's still probably an ongoing investigation. I still think there are questions to be answered here. Is the river she fell in deep at the banks, fast flowing or covered in brush that she could have been tangeled in?

If it was her footprints leading away from the truck it might make sense that she tried to cross the river and drowned.

Shitty either way but if she did die like that and not at the hands of another person it makes me feel somewhat... Hell, I don't know. Still bummed.

"An autopsy determined the cause of death, but not the manner of death, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release."

This info came out to the family a week or so ago. I still feel LE is holding info back. Very sad news. I still believe that foul play was involved and that someone thought she had died from being drugged, overdosed or whatever and instead of getting her help they panicked and disposed of her body in the river while she was in a comotosed state and she drowned. Please keep the family in your prayers as even though there is some closure it is still so tough on them.

From time to time I've checked on this thread to see if any 'positive' new info has been posted, etc. and well now it's coming up on 3 months going on 4 and still nothing about this case which appears to have gone cold?

As time goes by it looks like this story has all the makings for an episode of "UNSOLVED MYSTERIES".

I sure hope the individual or individuals responsible are caught and get what's coming to them.

^ I live in this town, and most people suspect if was the "boyfriend". But until more evidence surfaces.. no one will know for sure. Sad story, and I still see "JUSTICE FOR ALLY" on peoples vehicles.

Seems like there isn't anyone to blame here. Sometimes shit happens when people make mistakes.

I was just thinking about Ally last night. Trying to explain to my niece about the choices we make and who we chose to be friends with are not always the best. I wonder if the people up there in her town are still trying to find the answers.

This happened before I left, I remember there was Ally and another 2 or 3 girls who went missing around the Yuba area as well.
I was amazed at the amount of missing persons and unsolved cases for that area

    It’s very sad
