Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Many prayers Josh! It can be a tough battle to go through and/or watch. Sometimes as bad as things seem, prayers and medical technologies never cease to amaze. My mom went in for routine check up and wasn't allowed to leave the hospital for several months because her leukemia (that they had just diagnosed) was far to advanced. Wasn't expected to live more than a few months; that was 7 years ago, now cancer free. My baby brother had a similar diagnosis at the age of 4, 20 years now at still trucking (on a lighter note, i think he is living "final destination", he has cheated death several times, has metal plates throughout his body from holding him together from a wreck that had him in icu for a month). I know that it does not always end as well, my grandmother and uncle were not as fortunate, but ultimately just being there is the best thing for both of you right now. Many prayers for you, your mom, and your family.

I am typically not a praying kinda guy...but in this case, I will pray and send good karma her way.
I hope her condition improves, and thank you for being there for her.
