    Thank you all! The MRI went very well. Watching my boy get anesthesia was difficult but it took affect quickly an they didn't give him his IV until he was under. The MRI took about an hour an we were back with him when he woke up. They warned us that everyone reacts differently when they wake up and he could be aggressive. Luckily when he came out of it, it was like he just got up from a nap. We're home now and he's doing great. Surgery should be scheduled for sometime in the next 2 weeks.

    Well a long day has come to an end. The surgery went great. We finally got to see Collin around 2:00 PM. He is still heavily sedated and will remain that way for the next couple of days. They were able to remove the breathing tube but he has 4 IV’s, a catheter and a chest tube so obviously it was pretty difficult to see. He opens his eyes a little and has said a few words. They are keeping him comfortable with medication but he is clearly in pain. He is one tough little dude. He should be in the hospital 5-7 days. It’s still too soon to know when he might be able to come home but all of his vital signs are good.
