I noticed on other forums, whenever you begin to start a thread title, links will pop up showing similar threads that have already been started.

For example, say someone starts a thread title asking "what tire size for this lift". A drop down box would appear, underneath the thread title, showing threads that have already been started with the same or similar thread title.

Maybe TW could have something like that...

that would be a good idea, or if it was like a Screen name, and if you typed it in and it was the same as another, it wouldnt let you post it however it linked you to the other thread

    That would work too.

Something seriously needs to be done though. I'm tired of seeing the same damn threads clogging up our forum

To add a little. Some other Fab companies that produce body armor = CBI, ATO, Brute Force, ARB, Trail Gear, Shrockworks, and so many others.

Biggest tires on 3" I guess could be 35" or ~315/75/16

A lot of people actually like body lifts as long as they are around 1". I know a lot of 4runner and FJ guys who wheel harder than me and have a 1" body lift.

    "Which tire is best?"

Depends on your application. If you ask this question, 98% of people are just going to recommend what tire they are currently running.
If you're doing lots of highway driving an A/T is going to suit you best and will give you the best ride while maintaining some degree of off roading ability. If you do lots of crawling, mudding or see tons of snow, an M/T might be a better route for you. The larger lugs are going to propel you through the mud or snow, however, please note that the lack of sipes like more A/T tires have is going to drastically reduce performance on wet roads and on ice.
The only tire that will help you on ice is going to be a dedicated snow tire or a tire running studs. Check your local laws to see if studs are legal in your area.

A final note. All M/Ts are going to be noisy regardless of what noise cancelling technology they incorporate in their design. Some are just noisier than others. If this is an issue to you, get an A/T or better yet a dedicated highway tire. Because M/Ts have large lugs this will make them louder and it will also make them seem a bit squishy on corners. While most don't notice or care, this can be a real turn off for some people as it makes vehicle handling seem really odd. Please note, the people who this bugs are a real minority.

yeah, i have noticed that. I don't know how comfortable i would be telling someone about building 1" body lift (using hockey pucks) since i haven't build one myself. if they cant search and find how to do 1" body, they may not want to attempt.
