Praying all is well with Mike’s recovery still. Would like to add one to the list and it very thankfully is not Parker. Lady at our Church asked for continued Prayer and admittedly I had forgotten as of recently to do so. They take care of foster children and are making a difference. They are trying to adopt a sweet little girl but are having some issues in doing so. There is a family member putting up a fight. It’s a grandmother that doesn’t realize her advanced age and the needs of a 3 year old in the long term sense. She also doesn’t realize that she would be able to see this child anytime she wants… because the adopting family would never hinder her seeing her grand child. Anyway court appearance comes up soon, please Pray, as I will that they get to adopt this little girl. This family will one day receive a crown for their efforts because of their dealings with these children. Thanks and God Bless you!

No great news to pass on sadly. Court decided to wait till May… for some reason. Court system isn’t a system it’s a dysfunction. I’ll bring this up again around then. Until then Pray for the little girl to have loving caretakers.

Thank God he is getting better. He had the COVID related pneumonia and still has clots that he is on meds for. Doc told him that if he didn't go in when he did he wouldn't have lasted the night. Still worried about the clots, but I take it day by day!

Thank you one and all for your prayers! Thank you too Parker! :hattip:

Parker has been doing much better Thank you Jesus for hearing Prayers! Tuesday or Wednesday she goes back to K.C. early in the morning so please Pray for traveling mercies. The interstate between here and KC isn’t a road you should travel at night. She has a checkup to see how she is progressing. Hopefully there will be some positive news. Parker has been doing really good but some really good news would be very welcome! She just recently has been able to hold up her head on her own. She plays and even fights for her toys against her brother. Thank you for your Prayers and all who do think to do so.

My son is doing OK, thank you for asking and thank you Jesus! He is back to work as a LEO and working inside. Had an appt. Thursday for a breathing test and the results were good. I take it day by day regarding his clots.

Thank you for the update. We will continue to pray. Lord we ask for your protection upon this family as they travel to KC and back. We ask that the report would be uplifting and concrete evidence that with God all things are possible to them that believe and are called according to his purpose.

You’ve got to get a Hurst shifter into that right hand and tell her to beat the Hell out of it! She is unbelievable.

Praise Jesus. I just found this thread as I’m sitting next to an elderly parent on a ventilator… it’s very difficult but I cannot imagine the extreme difficulty it must be when dealing with a sick child.

I do know Jesus is good and I place my trust in Him… you are all in my prayers!

I watched my “Earthly” father (James) die and I remember the moment he passed. Though my dad regularly attended Church I’m not sure if he was a believer. I saw him sleeping at Church during the Sermons a lot over 16 years. He never seemed to talk about God but told me to do the right thing and stay out of trouble though. My parents took me to Church every Sunday and Summers meant VBS! I eventually walked away from Church then like the prodigal son that I was I found my way back to “The Father” and that was the wisest choice I ever made! By the time my Dad was breathing his last breath I was all in for Jesus Christ! I was also fortunate enough to talk about Jesus to my Dad before he died. Sadly he couldn’t speak but I told him about Jesus. One thing I know is that when you speak of Jesus they understand and they hear what you are saying no matter what. I asked Dad to forgive those who have sinned against him, and to ask for the forgiveness of his sins and to accept The Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He seemed to be at peace and I also told him that I would take care of Mom. He then closed his eyes and as I had my hand on his raised knee it slowly moved down to the mattress and he was gone. It’s everyone’s choice to make but the only thing I wanna hear when it’s my turn is Jesus, Jesus and some more Jesus. He’s way cool and paid our way to eternal life. I know all of us know this but it’s very important to remind those at the end of their life to place their everlasting hope in Jesus. Never hurts to remind them and to love them enough to tell them even if we think they are “Good” with Jesus. I hope to see Dad again upstairs some day and we’ll have an eternity to really get to know each other. Time is short and hindsight is 20/20 it’s time to choose Jesus because He chose us and died doing it. God Bless all of you and never miss an opportunity to talk to everyone about your personal experience and Faith in Jesus! Praying for your loved one!
