Please say a Prayer for “Parker”

Well I appreciate the Prayers most of all because that is what makes a difference ultimately. If ya feel like making a donation thank you. If not then please continue to Pray. Parker is doing quite well as far as milestones accomplished. However she isn’t out of the woods yet. Money requested is because they are gonna have some issues being able to stay close to baby and be free enough to have their firstborn with them. Covid has caused them to not be able to stay at Ronald McDonald House and be able to have two year old there too. My daughter is an underpaid teacher and her husband is stretched to the limits financially. He just started new job just after the news of Parker’s condition. Hoping his work won’t have issues as he travels for them. Pray for that also that his job will be secure and that they will understand. More questions than answers at this point and my daughter may have to stay home for awhile afterwards to take better care of Parker. Not knowing the extent of issues to come at this point. Thanks!

Our whole church prayed for Parker last night, we will bring her name to the Lord again as a group on Sunday.
I am part of a group of intercessory prayer warriors. We meet every Monday night. I had let Parker slip my mind. I will make sure she is brought up then as well.
Since you know God, you know how amazing he is.

 

Happy to Donate to a cause like this. Praying for Parker and your entire family. God definitely has his reasons and ways of doing things. I have a son named Parker so this thread stuck out to me when I saw it on the main page. Me, my wife, daughter and son will keep you guys in our prayers for sure!

He is reminding me of his power and I have failed in so many ways during this and could’ve done better. I forget myself and have forgotten a few times. I know God’s power and have no doubts whatsoever about Him... my doubts are about me. Lucky in so many ways and absolutely deserve nothing. Sounds dramatic and don’t mean it to be. However I have a hard time with this. Testing is part of what goes on in this world but I have to admit I hate it. My yes is yes and no is no. I chose Jesus long ago and really want this to be perfect for my daughter. She’s the best and is so emotionally distraught about this and I hope she passes... the test. God is good and I will serve Him no matter what.

We all make them... I stepped into a pile of misunderstanding the other day. Somebody texted me and jokingly said something instigated by daughter. I replied back and it turned out it was little Parker’s other Grand Ma and not my son-in-law. Nothing bad just didn’t come across well. I’ve gotta remind myself that measure twice rule applies well with everything. Gotta hold back and think about stuff before acting. Wife is a loving person but she has absolutely no sense of humor... I get in the most trouble because of my sense of humor when it comes to her. Anyway it’s all good! Just trying to have fun when I can.

She looks alert today and made a milestone and demonstrated a gag reflex! Small successes but we will take them! Oh and her head was 47.5 cm and is down to 43! Let’s pray it gets to 37ish that’s normal for newborns... hope she gets there or as close as possible.

 

Continued Prayers for Parker and for Her to improve more each day. Take a deep breath Brian. God has got this. God is alway's in charge.

She looks happy in PJ’s! However they are still going back and forth on the gag reflex milestone. One minute they think she had one and then next they say she hasn’t. Please keep Praying for her to make her milestones. Head is reducing in size but they are trying to do it slowly. Wife said Parker’s ventricles aren’t getting larger and that is exactly what we want it to happen.... stay small and don’t grow. So mostly good news and God is making it happen.
