    I'm about halfway into swapping my stock leafs with All Pro's AAL, for their standard leaf pack and getting rid of my 5100's for 2.0 Fox Shox w/Non-Adjustable Remote Reservoir.

    I've gotten both shocks off (had to cut one since I deftly stripped the allen on top) and just noticed that AP didnt include new bushings/sleeves for the leaf springs, I aint mad.

    My question is: can I slap the Fox's on with the AAL and drive the truck for a couple days until I get the rest of the hardware? The Fox overall length is about 27" and the billys are about 24" I believe.

    I have used the search function on this site as well as on google. I might not have the "search skills" required. I appreciate the help.

    I think that you will be fine. What are your concerns?

    my concern is that maybe I'd be compressing my brand new pretty shocks too much before I get the proper leafs matched up with them.

    You'd probably be ok if its just for a couple days IF you constantly keep in mind & obliviously no offroading/no weight in bed,hauling/etc;

    Highlighted above.... You SHOULD be mad, just had this debate with someone on another site, as far as I'm concerned buying new springs without getting the bushings too is a common bullshit practice that retailers do all the time & I don't get it, why the fuck they don't is beyond me, it'd be like buying new shocks only to find out the eyeletts aren't included... maybe not the best example but it seems so stupid they do this I guess they assume the first thing your going to do is go with aftermarket bushings

    You should be able to compress them by hand right? Compress them and measure, than go flex your truck and measure. Even with new springs you might want to extend the bumps depending on you measurements.

    I went ahead and tried to put them on. The sleeve and bushing on the shock was incredibly snug, and by snug I mean I need a dead blow hammer. I'm thinking theyre the wrong ones? Theyve gotta be. Theres no way they should be nearly this snug right? Anyway, I'm done for the day. Making el phone call tomorrow.
