Probably depends on the issue. I am going to assume I need front so that weight is on sit bones.

The seat is the only thing I struggled with on my 2020. Even with the electric seat, the stock position was down low and leaned back. Not a truck, and I hated it.

Seat Jackers in the front and 3/4” of their spacers in the rear. The electric seat pan is raised all the way up, with the nose down slightly.

I’m now up high and vertical in the seat, kinda, which allows me to move the seat forward and get over the wheel and pedals, like a truck should be. Way more comfortable, IME. I’m 5’9” with a 32” inseam.

Thank you! It seems the adjustable seats do help. And possibly jackers as a bonus. Impatiently waiting for a truck to come on to a local lot so I can hang out in it.

I spent two weeks hanging around the dealership while they fixed my fuel pump, because they fucked up the recall, and they didn’t have anything on the lot (3 Corolla’s)

totally possible I need to go back and see if my doctors can find an issue. Def going to have to modify and hope it works or find something else. Sadness.

Holy crap! Maybe it’ll work for me, my doctors are confused as to why I am having pain.

Like someone else mentioned earlier I would experiment by using washers as spacers to see if that would work for you. Try them in the front and/or the back and see if changing the seat position helps. If it does then you can purchase a seat jacker or whatever they are called for a more elegant solution.

Easy peasy and only costs a few bucks to find out.

If anyone does this they should also get appropriate length replacement fasteners of the correct grade and type, but it sure beats paying $50 for some aluminum spacers and bolts.

I did it with Parts from the hardware store for like 8$ to try it before I bought the actual kit. I couldn’t believe it helped as much as it did!

I have one of these too, but I use it in the house in a wooden chair. Very comfortable.

I have the seat jackers; they helped but did not resolve the issue. I need to bring the truck to get the seat “bucketed” which is going to run $300+

I have Sciatica and sometimes both legs go numb from the pressure on my lower back. I found that the rear seat jackers changed the angle on the the seat just enough to relieve the pressure.

We're in the middle of a trip from MA to SC to TN, back to SC, then back to MA. We're doing 8-10 hours a day on the road and my back has been pretty good.

As others have said, try the seat jackers first and see if they work. The OP notes that she can probably get more than she paid for the truck, but then there's nothing on the lots to replace it with.

I find most of my discomfort issues are addressed with a fairly good gym routine and chiropractor visits to align and balance my body. Ive had so many chronic issues corrected over the last few years simply because my body was weak and out of balance, including pain while driving.

    working on it!
Seating is a personal thing. I have Desert Does It front seat jackers because I'm a big guy and felt numbness in my butt after long drives. I also did not feel comfortable without a bend in my knees. I have bad knees so I feel everything. The front jackers lifted my knees into a bent position and shifted my body weight more into a normal seating position with the seat back doing more work.

In the end, it's a personal thing; washers let you trial and error. The bolts will need replacing if that is what you choose to go with.

As far as the cost of Desert Does It, you will get high quality 110% and won't regret it. I recent bought the bar to mount my fire extinguisher at it was also top quality.

Another vote for Desert Does It. I purchased the front seat jackers and the rear spacers from them so I could tinker to find what worked. For me I ended up landing on the fronts only and have no back or hip pain any longer. Also a bit better visibility and for whatever reason allows me to telescope the steering wheel toward me for a more comfortable driving position. I hesitated for months on spending $100-$150 on spacers but they are quality and solved my problem as has been the case with many. Worth a try!

Idk if anyone will ever read this but I thought I would post an Update.

    Update:
I raised the back of my seat 1”… so far it’s awesome! It’s been a week since I raised my seat, and sitting in school driveline for 3 hours isn’t physical torture! Im am absolutely shocked… I can’t believe I have spent the last 3 1/2 years in so much pain because of my truck seats.

    Thank you!

Considering that this is the first electronic adjustable seat I have ever owned in any vehicle in my life, it's fine by me, and comfortable as well.
