not sure if you can compare the overload with a single aal. The arch of the overload will face down as where the aal the arch is up and follows the same arch as the factory leafs. not an expert at all I'm sure someone else can give a better answer

I think you may be right, but the leafs on top of the overload will touch more surface area than on just a block so it may lead to a lift slightly higher than the thickness of the overload. Still won't get me up to 2 inches with it though...

not really... if you have a heavy load that gives you a negative arc or makes your springs flat against them then yes. I don't have a picture of my brothers old set up be he had blocks it was a ford but same idea let me find a picture of my leafs before install

the one in front has the 3 leaf added with the overload the far one does not and you can see the metal plate that is attached to the overload that's about all that touches between the two. on the far one you can see the rust mark from the bump stop that's not on it but that's about the length of the blocks he had on his. again I'm no expert maybe someone can post a pic of there setup

ok going back and looking at your pictures your leafs look pretty flat with the 3 leaf added. do you have a cap on your truck or anything in the bed of the truck? also I forgot to mention mine is the hd 3 leaf pack.

No cap, stock bumper and no weight in the bed... My 3+1 leafs are new with my frame replacement with about 1,000 miles on them. They do look flat but that's just how they are. Everything is installed correctly. 3/4 inch lift on the drivers with the icons is horrendous.

Looks good almost level maybe a touch high in the front. I wanted the rake and actually prefer it to a level look. I have 5100's with 885x in the front, stock with AAL in rear with overload in, 265/70/17 Falken AT3W's.

I have 5100's with 884's in the front which netted me 2.25 inches drivers side and 2.5 inches on the passenger side. (i still think i got mislabeled 885's...Check the pic) My measurements are only half inch higher in the back. I like having more rake also and if my 884's didn't give me so much lift i would be ok with the rear, but i dont like it the way it is.

I either have to lower the front or raise the rear. I have an extra set of new 884's and a set of used 1.6 eibachs i could use. I also have a set of used dakars that i am currently refurbishing that i can throw in there in the future. I just don't wanna go ripping things out and replacing cause the ride is perfect right now.

I have roughly a 1" rake, with ADS coilovers and Camburg uniball UCA's.

Icon sent me a new 3 leaf pack. Do you think that i could take one leaf out of the aal pack I'm taking out and add it to the new 3 leaf pack to make it a 4 leaf pack? If so, which leaf can or should I use?

I'm guessing that's going to create an unpleasant ride.
