Did you consider making one that mounted below their radio as well so that you do to have to run extensions? Either way super cool I always thought about doing this as well.

Yep! That's the plan as parts are on order (can't be found stateside). However, there isn't a viable connector in the overhead so the extension will stay part of the lineup for switches up there.

How will the daisy chaining work?

Is that female plug supposed to connect to the white male plug on the connector next to it in order to daisy chain?

No -- the white male plug is designed to accept the extension wires (has a mating female on it). So you can illuminate switches to the left of your steering wheel using the bare pigtails and then illuminate switches elsewhere using a 2nd set of extended pigtails attached at that point.

For now daisy-chaining would just consist of you gathering all of the illumination (+) and illumination (-) leads on your switches and crimping them to the pigtails. If there is enough interest I will provide a full daisy-chain solution with replacement connectors for the CH4x4 / AOB switches like I do for the 3rd Gen. For the first run, though, we are keeping it simple. There are a lot of 2nd Gens that don't use those push-style switches so my thoughts were to gauge demand and go from there. If you want something custom I can definitely draft it up for you. I've got a bunch of those green connectors for the CH4x4 switches.

I am def interested in cleaning up some wiring and also really interested in the below radio as that actually gets a lot more action with various setups. Early one botched some stuff there. But for now sounds like the extension one would be the way to go. Did not pick up your attaching to the illumination switch and not an individual switch.

What's the timing on these bad boys? Def would clear up some things if this was going to be soon.

They're available now! I've got a handful of them not spoken for (they're selling surprisingly quick). I will be building all of the orders tomorrow afternoon and shipping in the evening.

Oh hells yeah, this looks like a very clean solution. Sign me up!

Have you considered making a 3rd version with just the connector? For guys with off-road level trims there are no empty slots to the left of the wheel. Seems like that could be a popular option.

You got it. There is now a small waitlist as I sold out overnight.

I can definitely make a v2 with just a connector and an extension no problem.

Awesome. Put me on the list for that version then!

Any idea when you might start the next batch?

This is awesome, wish there was something simple like this to make fog lights come on with the park lights vs bending relay tabs under the hood and running a wire from it. Great harness!!!

You've been added! Next batch should be ready next weekend.

I’ll send the first batch out tomorrow morning (was going to do it today but got backlogged with orders). If one of the early adopters could cut the extension wires to length and then measure them for me I would appreciate it! Reduces waste. Measurements are based off of my 3rd gen so I’m cutting them a little long to account for differences.

I am interested in a full daisy chain solution for the ch4x4/aob switches and those green plug harnesses.
