    I use it to run some lights but mostly to run my soldering iron when changing out the LEDs on people's dashes

    Used to bring my 1 or 2 gallon compressor with me when I went riding so I can fill up the tires on the dirtbikes, not sure how but the compressor ran fine on the plug, other than that the only other time its been used was driving people in the bed and someone needed their phone charged, pretty useless.

    Did not know that :D. It will run my 1/2" impact which is 7 amps. 7x110=770 watts which is almost double the rating. Wonder why it want kick it off?

    I'm assuming that, that is the max amp amount that the impact can draw under a heavy load. Maybe you just haven't hit that yet. It can't possibly put out more than its rated. If for some reason it didn't shut off, I'd imagine it would burn up. Shit would start melting.
