OK, will take a bit since I am distracted by work and other non-essentials(!) I just have a iPhone cord coming out of my A pillar, using the KTJO4x$ handle setup to hold a ram ball and phone holder.

For anyone who has done this, what all needs to be removed to remove the arm console portion? I’m referring to the “box” under the armrest.

What I’m wanting to do is run a couple cables to the inside of that console but I need to drill a hole in the bottom of it to feed the cables through. I don’t just want to drill straight down because I have no idea what is under it.

As a note, I’m wanting to drill about an inch in front of the USB plug in there to feed a cable in to plug into the USB port.

Any help, or relevant pictures, would be great!

Thank you, for sharing a well-detailed write-up. This is exactly what I've been looking for along with using it for all riders who have USB-C type charging ports as we are NOTE20Ultra+5G owners and this offers the best solutions

You can buy USB A to USB C adapters for a couple of dollars.

I think he was hoping to switch to usb c for the increased charging capability. Since the stock usb port doesn’t really even charge my iPhone, I’d also be interested….

Then maybe power it through a Quick Charge 3.0 accessory port charger or a charger that will charge at the level they're looking for. I guess I'm saying that, instead of powering it straight from the vehicle power, power the setup through an adapter that will charge at the rate he needs.

Right, but I assume he wants it to transfer data so he can use CarPlay, or at least I do and I want it to charge faster. One can wish…

    Hello everyone,

I am relocating the media port of my Entune 2.0 radio and have found this cable which would simplify everything! I have not yet received this cable, but I have done my homework, I hope. The cable is listed for a 2017 Sienna which had Entune 2.0 before the Taco. The sienna radio is listed as interchangeable, and I am hopeful. Please have a look at the connections and post anything you might offer. Unfortunately, no length of cable was listed but it seems from the pics as adequate. Thanks for listening!

    Good afternoon all concerned!

I received the Leewa cable that I had mentioned above in record time and it works! It was designed for another vehicle so I can't quite figure out what to do with the 3.5mm part of it but no matter, it is long enough to relocate the media port for the Entune 2.0 radio to the center console. This will make me very happy when I replace the head unit and setup wireless CarPlay.

Bought a similar cable and works great. This allowed me to bring the connection for CarPlay all the way back to the arm rest box. There is a hole at the bottom of the arm rest box that I fed the USB cable through so no drilling or cutting of the box was necessary.
Paired this up with the Carlinkit (wireless CarPlay). I couldn't be happier with CarPlay auto-connecting when I jump in (most of the time) and the cabling out of sight.

Working and almost done with the same retrofit. I'm sure I'll be very happy with it. Thanks!
