Plug Piercing

i read online and people have told me if you ever decide to let your ears get back to normal you will see a scar from the gun.

 

i think i have seen a guy with 0's. it was crazy, his lobes touched his neck!

 

0g isnt that big it was probably a 52mm gauge, now that is to much in my book!

 

just get them pierced at walmart for 15 bucks, wait about a week then get some tappers from hot topic and just keep going up every other week. i went from a 22 which is a standard piercing then 16,12,10,6,2,00 in about a 1 month 1/2 time. whatever you do is DO NOT get a gauged piercing or they will never seal up correctly if you ever want to take them out

 

well I bought it. hope it gets to me soon. I'm getting all anxious.

 

My first lobe piercing was with the gun. all it left was a indent, but no scare. I got it when I was in middle school, then took out the hoop when I was almost done with h.s.

IMHO 0g looks pretty decent. I'm in the mil and no one really says shit about my 0s. They're big enough for when I have em in, yet not too big that my shit is hanging all over the place

 

I pierced my ears at a 14guage.

I currently have 4gauge pinchers.

I stretch every two months or so.. About to go down another size.

I've never used a taper. I've always used pinchers (well from 8 gauge down, before that it was buying an ear ring and shoving it through). Take a cloth, get it covered in hot water and hold it to your ear for 5 minute to get the flesh loosened up, put the ear ring in, and take 2 ibuprofen.

My best man in my wedding has his at 1 1/8" they are ridiculous.
I dont remember what size it was but he had 12gauge shotgun shells in his ears for a little while

 

I'd start with a 12 gauge or maybe a 10 gauge - high brass of course!

Oh one other thing - OP asked how much is it worth? Well it may be worth different jobs, tickets and other things - I know we ink up alot these days and such but I think it's good policy not to f with your face. Just saying. To many folks - it is a big f you to them. I realize you may intend to be saying this to some but I think there may be better ways.

 

never been into piercings on my body. im more int tattoos.

but i think the smaller ones do look pretty sweet. on the right person ofcourse

 

I pierced mine at Claires bahah.. about 3 weeks later I put 14s in, now at a 10, I prob won't go less than 6. I had 12s for about a year, took them out completely for about a year, they healed up a bit down to 14s again, not I'm back to 10.

should I get it or is there another way to take care of my ear while stretching it?

 

good thing in my job looks don't matter. in graphic design, it's more of "you better be able to get the job done and right or I will fire your stupid ass and find someone that will." kind of deal. I rarely talk to clients which I'm okay with, I mainly just do the design work and hand it in for review.

 

I just been dipping my ears in warm water with sea salt in it!
