So, I was underneath my truck today checking for any leaks after some recent work and noticed a few things.

There’s a lot of open holes, not so much on the frame, but on the body and cab of the truck underneath.

I’m thinking of getting some rubber plugs in various sizes like in the picture and plugging the holes.

I’m guessing that would trap even more water, I may have answered my own question!

Anyone see any issues with this as long as they’re not drain holes?

Good question. And just for information, I don't live in a state prone to rust.

With that, I wouldn't plug any holes that weren't plugged from the factory? Just out of worry of trapping water. My assumption would be that they were either plugged or not for a reason.

The better bet would be to toss some Fluid Film in there, if not treating the rest of the under body, and call it good?

My observation looking at the under side was that I was pleased to see how much of the body was filled with foam to cut down noise and possibly seal out water.

Yeah, I was just thinking of that. If the holes were plugged it would trap more water.

I’m into plugging holes. The aftermarket Gasshole always gets my attention.

Subconsciously I knew this thread would derail with my purposeful risqué title

Yup, I believe many are specifically to let water out.
