Plugging a TV into bed outlet

Not that generator. My parents have one and it is unreal how quiet it is, seriously you have to hear it running to believe it.

 

Then yay for that generator! Too bad most people don't have something that quiet.

 

That turns into 150dba out in the quiet woods.

 

You can run it a few hours during the day to recharge things then turn off at night.

 

This is just speculation, but I think @fgeorge097 is a troll that likes to ask a series of useless questions and waste your time by getting you to post a thoughtful response

 

But that kind of planning requires a sense of common courtesy, and empathy with those around you. We all know how that typically goes.

 

OK, To clarify

By "Camping" I mean backing up the truck to a scenic area in a park, then hanging out in the bed and playing video games while outdoors.

Just wondering if this is possible with the Tacoma.

If I have to leave the engine on for the outlet to work, but I am not driving it, does it still burn through gas?

 

No, you can basically run it through the whole weekend without losing any gas

I will assume that you understand that yes, anytime your engine is running it will burn gas. That being said, We idle our cars at work 24/7 and you can propobally expect to idle a little longer than 24 hours on a tank. Maybe 36
